Mrs. Kristyn Cousino

Dear Webster Community,

I’m so excited to be working with the Webster Community next year and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as I prepare to join the Webster Team. This is my 23rd year in education and I have served as an elementary teacher, teacher leader, and elementary principal.   I taught first, fifth and sixth grades at Randolph Elementary and Riley Upper Elementary.  I served as Teacher Leader for one year at Cleveland Elementary. Then I  became the principal at Grant Elementary, Riley, and soon Webster Elementary.

I have been married to my husband Chris for 12 years and we have two beautiful daughters. Lucy is 11 (5th grade) and Kate is 8 (2nd grade) years old.  Both my husband and I are MSU graduates and we bleed green in our house! We live in Bloomfield Hills and love spending time together as a family.  Both girls are very active in soccer, basketball, swim, dance, and golf.  Chris and I are avid golfers and we are excited that this is something the four of us can do together.   We also love to exercise, cook and go on family bike rides.  

I’ve heard many wonderful things about the Webster students, staff, and community and I’m excited to get to know each of you.  I will be visiting on Thursday, June 16th at Field Day and hope to meet many of you there.  I am looking forward to working with you and I will do my best to continue the great work that Mrs. Boka has been doing these past 10 years.  Livonia Public Schools is a wonderful organization and I look forward to serving in my new role at Webster!
